Privacy, plainly stated.

This policy explains how Lafrancian Enterprises handles information across this website and the services that reference this policy, including Crewenda.

1. Scope

Lafrancian Enterprises ("Lafrancian," "we," "us," or "our") is based in Missouri, United States, and operates Crewenda. This Privacy Policy applies to lafrancian.com and to Lafrancian-operated services that link to it. A product may provide additional privacy information for a particular feature or workflow.

This public website does not offer anonymous enrollment in the Crewenda text messaging program. Crewenda SMS consent is collected only in the applicable authenticated workflow.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We may receive information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message, account information, business relationship, and support request details.

Service and operational information

When you use a Lafrancian-operated service, we may process account identifiers, organization and project context, activity records, preferences, records needed to deliver the service, and audit or security events.

Mobile and messaging information

For the Crewenda SMS program, we may process a mobile phone number, message-delivery events, opt-in and opt-out events, consent evidence, disclosure version, timestamps, support interactions, and the organization and user records needed to honor the current preference.

Technical information

Our hosting, security, and delivery providers may process limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals. We use this information to operate, protect, and understand the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, secure, and improve our websites and services;
  • authenticate users and preserve accurate account and operational records;
  • deliver requested support and communicate about service matters;
  • send permitted operational messages and honor messaging preferences;
  • detect misuse, investigate incidents, and comply with applicable law; and
  • maintain records of consent, suppression, and other compliance events.

4. Mobile information and SMS privacy

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Crewenda sends optional, recurring operational and service messages to users with current, phone-specific consent. Message frequency varies with work activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS is not required to create a Crewenda account or use Crewenda.

You may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. An opt-out applies to the mobile number that sent it. Changing a phone number requires fresh consent before Crewenda messages may resume for the new number.

Mobile information may be processed by service providers acting for us when needed to transmit messages, manage suppression, protect the service, or provide infrastructure. Those providers may use the information only to provide their contracted services and may not use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

5. When information is shared

We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors may process information on our behalf for hosting, security, communications delivery, diagnostics, and support.
  • Your organization. If an organization provides your Crewenda account, authorized organization administrators may access organization-scoped account and operational information.
  • Legal and safety needs. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or respond to lawful process.
  • Business changes. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards and this policy.
  • At your direction. We may disclose information when you request or authorize it.

These disclosures do not change the mobile-information commitment above: mobile numbers and messaging consent data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and audit records, honor suppression and consent history, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of the record.

7. Your choices

  • You may decline optional information requests, although some service functions may then be unavailable.
  • You may update eligible account or preference information through the applicable service workflow.
  • You may opt out of Crewenda SMS by replying STOP. A provider-level START or UNSTOP command does not by itself recreate Crewenda consent; re-enrollment requires a fresh explicit request through Crewenda.
  • You may contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where legally required or necessary for security, consent, or suppression records.

Children

Our services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
