1. Program overview
Program name: Crewenda
Operator: Lafrancian Enterprises, Missouri, United States
Crewenda is construction operations software. It sends centrally controlled operational and service messages to consenting, authenticated users. Participating organizations may trigger authorized workflows and provide company, project, schedule, or work context, but they do not become independent SMS senders and cannot use Crewenda for free-form marketing broadcasts.
SMS is optional. Consent to receive text messages is not required to create an account, use Crewenda, or receive the underlying information in the application.
2. How consent works
An authorized organization administrator enters or verifies a user’s mobile number in an authenticated Crewenda workflow. The mobile-number owner is shown a separate, initially unchecked SMS consent control and the complete disclosure before SMS can be enabled.
The consent disclosure states:
Crewenda records the mobile number, consent event, timestamp, evidence source, disclosure version, and related account context. A new or changed mobile number requires fresh consent.
This public website describes the flow but does not collect phone numbers or enroll visitors. See the public consent-flow representation.
3. Message categories and frequency
Messages may concern work assignments, dispatches, schedule updates or changes, missing time entries, reminders, operational alerts, and account or service information.
- Frequency: Recurring; message frequency varies with work activity and account events.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
- Delivery: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Authoritative record: The corresponding in-app record remains authoritative if a message is delayed, filtered, or fails.
4. Representative messages
Bracketed values are template fields. Crewenda uses bounded templates and does not transmit arbitrary tenant-authored broadcasts.
5. STOP, START, and suppression
Reply STOP to opt out. The messaging provider may also recognize standard opt-out variants. After opt-out, Crewenda disables the SMS preference and does not allow further application messages to that number while it remains suppressed.
START or UNSTOP may remove provider-level suppression where supported. It does not silently re-enable Crewenda. The mobile-number owner must explicitly request re-enrollment, and Crewenda must record fresh phone-specific consent before messages resume.
